CUTE NO MORE: Asian Women’s Unity and Resistance in the Public Space

What does it feel like to be described as cute?

As an Asian woman living in New York, USA, Susan hates being treated with a childish tone because of her skin color and race. In her Thesis: Cute No More: Asian Women's Unity and Resistance in Public Space, through the research on the situation of Asian women, she proposed that "cuteness is the burden of Asian women." She offered some solutions for people who try to show weakness to please the power to turn things around - find the right alliances, unite and resist the oppression of a patriarchal society.
